The Universe Adventure is modeled after "The Particle Adventure", an educational project sponsored by the Contemporary Physics Education Project. The Particle Adventure is supervised by Michael Barnett of the Particle Data Group at Ernest Orlando Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Teachers of science are encouraged to visit these sites and take advantage of the rich educational opportunities available there.
