Instructions
to run the movies:
The
executable files are encoded in a special video format (bik) and
already include the proper player. In computers with Windows 98/Me/XP
and DirectX 8 or higher it plays without need of extra software. A
graphics card supporting DirectDraw enhances slightly the image
quality. In computers with Windows 2000, it will not run unless the
last service pack is installed. In Linux, any windows crossover
software (wine, wmware, codeweavers...) should allow its execution.
If you prefer a more standard video file, use the AVI version. The
codec used is Xvid, a mpeg4 class compliant, with very high quality.
You can use any mpeg4 class codec to decode it. If you don't have any
installed, try the excellent 3ivx.
In the top-right corner, select your Operating System (Windows,
Unix/Linux,
MacOS,
Amiga
or BeOS)
and follow the installation instructions.
The MPG files are MPEG2 compliant and can be viewed using any DVD
playing software. You can also install a mpeg2 codec (like the
excellent Elecard)
and open the files using any media player.
