Welcome to the Joao Pequenao webpage of ATLAS Outreach Works.

This project consists of a state-of-the-art multimedia presentation of the ATLAS Experiment aimed at the general public and students. Most of it is 3D animation and still images.

At this moment, I am working at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory exclusively for the ATLAS Outreach Committee.

The Project is divided in three phases, each one covering different aspects of the Experiment, from the structure of the detector, through its operational principles, to the Particle Physics Dynamics.

Status of the Project :

• Phase I is complete. A movie and some images are available in the "Media" Section
• Phase II is nearly complete. Animation and music are ready, the narration is under revision.
• Phase III is still not started
